Zebra Card Printer/Encoder
Sep 28, 2007 1:33 PM
The Zebra Card Printer Solutions P630i plastic card printer/encoder prints full-color or monochrome cards and applies a 1.0-mm laminate to one side of the card to create a tamper-resistant ID that lasts five years or more. The printer uses liner-less lamination that reduces the cost of laminate material, is waste-free and environmentally friendly. Security features include customizable holograms, covert features within the laminate and a range of encoding options, such as magnetic and contact smart card. An optional ID/key prevents unauthorized printing and an ID/log driver builds a record of card transactions in the printer’s host computer to prevent someone from accessing the database to create fraudulent cards. The printer uses a USB interface and offers built-in Ethernet connectivity. Visit securitysolutions.com/productinfo or zebracard.com.
