The National Association of Security Companies (NASCO), which represents contract-security firms with members employing more than 400,000 security officers, has launched its interactive job board, the NASCO Contract Security Career Center, at careercenter.nasco.org/search.cfm.
The center offers individuals a free, easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections. It is dedicated to serving the employment needs of the contract-security community.
"It is important that NASCO is there to better facilitate smooth career transitions for those seeking long-term positions in security, which is one of the fastest growing job sectors in the U.S. economy," says Joseph Ricci, executive director of NASCO.
The NASCO Contract Security Career Center provides access to employers and jobs in the contract-security industry. Both members and non-members can use NASCO's Career Center to reach qualified candidates.
Job seekers can create online "agents" that will email new job opportunities daily to qualified candidates. In addition to posting resumes, job hunters can browse and view available positions based on their personal search criteria and then save those jobs for later review.
