4th annual Security Summit planned for June

The Security Network has announced plans for the 4th annual The Security Summit, which will take place in San Diego on June 6-7.
More than 60 companies are expected to enter this year's Exposition and Competition, more than the double the participation at the 3rd annual Summit.
The 2007 Summit will be held in the central 23,000 sq. ft. "Pavilion of Flight" atrium at the historic San Diego Aerospace Museum in world famous Balboa Park. Against the museum backdrop of aeronautical progress over the last century, the venue will reflect the spirit of technological progress demonstrated by the exhibiting companies and their innovative products.
The "Most Innovative Technology Competition" will be held June 6. Judges will include up to 30 prominent security professionals drawn from three groups -- local corporate and government security leaders, leading commercial and defense systems integrators, and law enforcement and defense industry technology assessment centers representing four countries -- who will assess the technologies from around the world.
The Conference itself will commence on June 7 with an address by a keynote speaker followed by another after lunch. Tentative panel topics include: "Law Enforcement from the Local Level to International Cooperation -- Coordination and Technologies"; "Port and Maritime Security -- Essential Public/Private Partnering"; "How to be Seen by Government Technology Assessment Organizations"; and "The Role of Systems Integrators in Promoting the Rapid Adoption of Innovative, COTS Security Technologies."
