Women In Security Electronics (WISE) has planned a special networking event at this year's ASIS convention open to all security professionals.
The event will be held Monday, Sept. 25 from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Security Management Ad Club room in the San Diego Convention Center.
Attendees will have the opportunity to catch up with WISE and learn of some of the organization's future plans.
WISE was established in 2005 as a non-profit professional networking organization. Membership is open to both men and women, from all segments of the industry, who are committed to recruiting and retaining top-talent women in the security industry.
WISE is focused on assisting women by providing professional development, mentoring, networking and greater industry exposure. WISE plans to encourage the development and training of higher-caliber, talented women from which industry companies can hire. WISE will also recognize and acknowledge companies that are successfully promoting women.
The networking event will also honor WISE sponsors including GE Security, HID Global, Tech Systems, Pelco, Henry Brothers Electronics, PSA, ISS, Diebold, Dedicated Micros, Altronix and ASIS.
Prospective members and sponsoring companies can learn more about the benefits of membership, upcoming events, and sponsorship levels by visiting the website at www.womeninsecurityelectronics.com.
