Mar 4, 2008 5:06 PM
ADI, a wholesale distributor of security and low voltage products, is launching its latest Expo Training Series and celebrating 15 years of success in 2008. Free to industry professionals, the ADI Expo offers dealers an opportunity to meet with local associations and manufacturers, increase their technical expertise, expand their business and remain competitive in the low voltage industry.
This year's theme, Go Full Throttle, is designed to energize, as ADI and its vendors are committed to offering opportunities that prepare customers to move full speed ahead and accelerate their business. The ADI Expo provides dealers with valuable education opportunities, a chance to demo the latest technology and engage in face-to-face interaction with leading manufacturers.
Based on customer feedback, the 2008 ADI lineup will offer more training seminars including additional IP Networking courses, CEDIA low voltage educational classes, as well as seminars on business and project management. In an effort to comply with industry standards, ADI is incorporating national, local and industry accredited courses. Dealers will have an opportunity to visit with manufacturers as they showcase their innovative product lines spanning categories such as intrusion, fire, video, access control, A/V, tools and hardware, home solutions, wire and cable and IP networking.
"My staff and I have been attending for more than 8 years," says John Sheridan, vice president at Certified Security in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. "One of the benefits of the Expo is the informative training sessions. We really learn a lot, and get to see and test the newest products."
"We have been an ADI vendor for years, and recently started participating in the Expo program,"says Matt Bumgarner, president of Stealth Labs. "The Expo allowed us to strengthen our relationship with dealers and local ADI branches. The impact on sales was immediate, and my only regret was not participating sooner."
"By offering these free regional Expo events, we are giving our dealers an opportunity to explore new technology and learn from industry experts," says John Sullivan, vice president of sales at ADI.
With 39 Expos in 2007, ADI and its participating vendors reached more than 12,000 dealers throughout the year. Go Full Throttle will visit 40 cities across North America, and kicked off at the end of February in Orange, Calif.
