Sep 18, 2007 2:22 PM
During ASIS 2007 next week in Las Vegas, the results of a poll will unveil The Top 5 Most Challenging Issues in Security. Experts will be on hand to discuss the exclusive poll results and what they mean to today's security professionals.
The poll will be featured as part of a series of live, interactive sessions at ASIS, sponsored by Verint Systems in cooperation with Access Control & Security Systems magazine and securitysolutions.com. Experts will discuss several key issues that are shaping the future of the security industry and the lives of security professionals in the "Get Connected" series to be held at Verint's booth #1213.
Larry Anderson, editor of Access Control & Security Systems, will moderate the featured sessions, which will be:
-- "The Proliferation of Municipal Security Systems in the U.S.," Monday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m.
-- "The Top 5 Most Challenging Issues in Security," Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 11 a.m.
-- "Putting Together An Intelligent Video Security Solution," Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 2 p.m.
"These sessions represent Verint's ongoing commitment to provide valuable and thought-provoking information that promotes innovation in the security industry," says Mariann McDonagh, senior vice president of global marketing at Verint Systems. "We surveyed security industry professionals and, based on that information, have put together three expert panels to discuss top-of-mind issues among attendees at this year's show."
"At ASIS, it's easy to suffer from technology overload," Anderson says. "These sessions will allow attendees to take a break and reflect on a broader perspective related to some of the industry's big issues. We hope to give attendees some food for thought."
