The AMAG S731 reader complies with the U.S. Government specification for secure smart cards, a.k.a., the Common Access Card (CAC), based on the ISO 7816 contact technology and the 14443 DES encrypted contactless technology. The AMAG S731 is being used in numerous federal facilities and features secure supervised pseudo-random bi-directional communications, and complies with SEIWG specifications.
