Dual Supervised Reader Extenders (DUPREX) extend the distance between card readers and access control panels up to 10,000 feet on a single twisted pair. Alternate media such as fiber-optic, Ethernet, and wireless can also be used with traditional Wiegand, strobed or F/2F readers. Door strike, REX, door contacts, etc., are transmitted over the fully-supervised link.
