The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will establish a Homeland Security research center in Cincinnati to manage and coordinate research and technical assistance efforts.

The goal of the center is to provide clear lines of communication and to facilitate interaction with other Federal agencies. It will also provide detailed information and technical assistance concerning building decontamination, drinking water protection and risk assessment.
