Frost & Sullivan has selected Hirsch Electronics, Santa Ana, Calif., for its Market Engineering Entrepreneurial Company award. This award signifies the company's identification of a unique and revolutionary product solution with significant market potential.

From the beginning, with the patented ScramblePad(R) Hirsch has grown its position as the dominant player in keypad based access control into leadership with smart card and biometric credentials as well. Additional patents have been awarded for the ScrambleProx(R) which integrates proximity based card access with the ScramblePad to require dual credentials for gaining entry.
