The KD6I dome utilizes a new “intelligent” serial communication protocol technology, allowing the dome to receive and send data simultaneously. Never before has such a powerful bi-directional communication tool been offered over single pair RS-485 communication lines. The internal settings of the KD6I dome can be sent to the head end modified, stored and flashed to the domes without interrupting the operation of the system.
