Orlando, Fla., hotel owner Harris Rosen says there is hope for his plan to ferry luggage between area hotels and Orlando International Airport. The airport, three major airlines and the FAA are backing a pilot program that could begin this summer, according to an Orlando Sentinel report.
The plan is to offer remote baggage checking at two of Rosen's hotels in order to speed customers' trip through time-consuming security checkpoints. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) must approve the proposal.
