In response to industry demand, Reed Exhibitions (REC), the producers of the International Security Conference (ISC EXPO) and The Home Automation Show, have announced plans to adopt a rotational venue strategy between Orlando and New York, beginning in 2002.

REC announced ISC/East and The Home Automation Show will be held in Orlando in even years, and in New York in odd years. ISC/East and The Home Automation Show 2002 are scheduled to take place August 14-16, 2002 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL.

Research shows that the move to Orlando will result in the same quantity and quality of buyers expected from an ISC EXPO event. According to surveys, 77 percent of prospects in the new geographic universe are likely to attend ISC EXPO/East in Orlando. Twenty-one percent of current New York attendees said they are likely to attend Orlando. That research also says ISC EXPO/East attendees plan to spend more than $1.2 billion on residential and system integration products in 2001.

"Rotating ISC/East between New York and Orlando will open new markets to both exhibitors and attendees in both venues," says Eileen Baird, industry vice president of REC.
