The Digital Video Manager addresses the challenges of today's video surveillance and security operations. DVM is a network video recording solution using off-the-shelf hardware and IP-based cameras on existing infrastructure. DVM protects existing investments, allowing the re-use of analog switchers, multiplexers and coaxial cabling. Integration with Pro-Watch Security Management Software provides alarm and motion activated recording - only critical video is stored. This integration makes the system less dependent on operator observations and enables real-time decision making.
