Eight-channel video switch
Pushbutton selection
Signals from remotely-located CCTV cameras are selected for viewing by a high impedance video monitor at the midpoint of a security network or by a low impedance video monitor at the network's endpoint. Switches allow pushbutton selection of video from up to eight sources, and interlocked pushbuttons hold the last selected video on the shared monitor until another button is pressed. All connections are made at the rear panel via BNC connectors.
Feature: aluminum packaging provides maximum EMI/RFI shielding.

MPEG-2 video server
Low delay mode
Real-time video server can be used as a transmitter or a receiver when linked to a monitor, or its video signal can be displayed on a PC using a software decoder or Web browser. System uses a constant or variable bit rate for transmission depending on the application and is compatible with PAL or NTSC video sources. System's multicast feature allows users to retrieve multiple pictures at the same time. Server saves bandwidth by recording the MPEG-2 format signal locally for future reference, while simultaneously encoding and transmitting the same pictures in a compact MPEG-4 format for remote users.
Features: integral hard disk version available.

CCTV terminal balun
Epoxy-sealed
Balun integrates with existing structured cabling systems and allows moves, adds and changes to be made using standard patch panel techniques. By allowing CCTV to be transmitted via Cat 5 twisted pair wire instead of co-axial cable, up to four camera signals can be passed under a standard 4-pair Cat 5 cable, eliminating three cables. The crosstalk rejection of Cat 5 allows camera signals and low voltage power to be mixed under the multi-pair Cat 5 cable.
Features: live-tested, epoxy-sealed.
