Available in 8-, 16- or 32-channel configurations, the digital video recorder provides 240 pps recording and up to 960 gB of on-board storage. The recorder operates on a Microsoft Windows 2000 platform and can be integrated within existing network infrastructures. The Network Video Management Software (NVMS) enables up to 100 units to be connected, controlled and monitored. Users can capture images at resolutions of 320×240, 720×240, or 720×480, depending on application technology. Images can be stored in a digital file format via DSL, cable modem, LAN, WAN or dial-up modem.
Features: aluminum rack-mountable casing, POS and ATM support, up to one minute pre- and post-alarm recording, object search, instant replay and preview search functions. Supports 16 input and 16 outputs on alarm activation.

Stand-alone video motion detector fits into existing CCTV systems and connects to standard video cameras and video monitors, as well as input and output contacts. Adaptive image processing compensates for changes in the camera's view. The detector provides alarm detection, allowing users to specify size and perspective of moving objects. The CCTV video monitor displays a live image while the detector maintains a buffer of up to 16 images. The detector has two video motion alarm detection set-up configurations that can be switched via a dry contact input.

MPEG2 compression
Code/decoder devices use MPEG2 compression to conserve bandwidth while providing a maximum delay of 150 msec for transmission of video surveillance images. The MPEG2 compression enables video images to be transmitted in real-time over a 1 GB Ethernet. Hardware encryption is embedded in the circuitry.

Uses multimode optical fiber
Transmitter and receiver unit plugs directly into the supplier's Spectra II or III series dome systems. The unit plugs into a dome's data converter connector within the enclosure and changes it from a standard coaxial connection dome to a fiber optic compatible dome. The optical output of the dome is then compatible with the supplier's VR1500WDM receiver. The unit allows for simultaneous transmission of video and one-way control data over one optical fiber.
