The series of two distributed media managers (DMMs) function as intelligent video recorders, stream servers and video information managers for the supplier's Crystal High Definition video surveillance system. Each DMM operates at the edge of the surveillance network and offers processing and higher storage capacity to record and play back higher-quality video at higher frame rates. Fixed IP Mini-Dome Cameras

The camera series includes a vandal-resistant model that is suitable for outdoor applications and a model designed for indoor applications. Both cameras feature high-resolution, ¼-in. interline transfer CCDs with 380,000 effective pixels for producing detailed images. The vandal-resistant model meets IP66 rating and has a triple-axis rotation mechanism to simplify installation. The model also features a die-cast aluminum chassis and an optional heating unit to allow operation in temperatures as low as -22 degrees F. Both cameras feature a 3.6x built-in variable focal length iris lens that measures 2.8 to 10 mm and a day/night function. IP Communication Gateway

The IP communication system links the AMAG 625 Access Control and Security Management System and the STENTOFON AlphaCom E IP system. The gateway provides voice, image and data links by employing standard Ethernet network architecture. The system allows for the integration of communication streams. The series includes three models: a super-high-resolution model, a day/night model and a wide dynamic range model (WDR). All three cameras deliver up to 30 frames-per-second of high-quality, 4 CIF video across the network, and they may be powered by PoE or 24vAC. The cameras provide color images with a resolution of up to 540 TVL lines and accurate color rendition. The cameras use the supplier's ViconNet MPEG-4 compression system to optimize file size and maximize picture quality. The system also enables simultaneous transmission of multiple-channel video across the local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN) when connected to the supplier's recorders and NVR workstations. Integrating Access Control For Courts And Prisons

The Suffolk County Court House system in New York integrates access control, video and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) functionality using DVTel's Longitude IP Access Control Software. The application demonstrates a low-cost approach to providing the integrated system to courts and prisons. The installation also uses DVTel's Longitude Network Appliances, reader modules and Input/Output (I/O) modules to provide “push button” control of areas in the facility. The courthouse security system consists of four PLC button panels controlling the secured areas, vehicle gates and prison cells. The I/O Modules provide interface for the buttons and LEDs on the button panel, as well as the monitoring and control of doors, cells and gates.
